Tuesday, Feb. 2-- Each group will run their ECC for their classmates and Mrs. C
Wednesday, Feb. 3--Check Ch. 13 study guides for completion grade; Review game over ENERGY in prep. for tomorrow's test
Thursday, Feb. 4--Test over ENERGY (ch. 13); Turn in the diagram of your ECC and the list of five energy transformations that take place in your ECC
Friday, Feb. 5--Demonstration of thermal energy -- heated water and molecule movement; no HW
8th grade EARTH SCIENCE – We are currently studying the atmosphere and Weather (Ch. 11 and 12)
Monday, Feb. 1—Read from Ch. 9 on Streams and discuss the important points from the textbook—no HW
Tuesday, Feb. 2—Streams and rivers worksheet completion; begin going over the correct answers
Wednesday, Feb. 3—Finish going over the worksheet from yesterday; YOU WILL HAVE A QUIZ OVER IT TOMORROW then draw a diagram of the layers of the atmosphere and make a mnemonic device for remembering the layers of atmosphere in order out from Earth.
Thursday, Feb. 4—Quiz over streams and rivers; HW—Read about the three ways that sun’s energy is delivered to earth and outline at least 4 bullet points on each of the three ways (from Ch. 11 Sec. 1)
Friday, Feb. 5—Quiz over the layers of atmosphere; Discuss the energy delivery from the sun
