Wednesday, Mar. 24--Worksheet-- identify the heart structures, map the blood flow through the heart (FLOW chart!) and color the heart as blue (unoxygenated) and red (oxygenated) --This will be the first grade of the new nine weeks... Test corrections are due tomorrow (Thursday--although you are not officially on campus!)

Monday, Mar. 15-- Visit the SOUNDS AMAZING WEBSITE again today
Tuesday, Mar. 16--Read p. 490-495 and define amplitude, volume, decibels, pitch, frequency, energy, echo, reflection then make a concept map using these words (showing how they are related to one another)
Wednesday, Mar. 17--Discuss Hearing frequencies of different animals versus man; Basics of echolocation (bats and dolphins)
Thursday, Mar. 18--Make a graph comparing string lengths and frequencies

Graph the string length on the x axis (horizontal) and the frequency on the y axis (vertical). Make sure to label the axes. Title the graph.

When the graph is completed determine the length of Middle C if the frequency of Middle C is 256 Hz.

Wednesday, Mar. 3--Read Ch. 16, sec.3 and discuss reflection, refraction, diffraction,, and interference....Received study guide for the TEST WHICH WILL BE NEXT WEDNESDAY over waves; HW--finish the first page (front only) for HW if you did not finish it in class
Thursday, Mar. 4--Finish the study guide tonight-- I will check it for completion tomorrow then we will go over all answers to make sure that you have it corrected before the weekend (and studying for next Wednesday's test)
Friday, Mar. 5--Review the study guide (and check your own answers!)
