Each week, all classes will be listed in this order-- 7th grade (in orange), 8th grade (in green), 9th grade (in purple) then 11th grade (in blue). Look for your class below...
7th grade PHYSICAL SCIENCE... We are currently studying about ENERGY from Ch. 13
Monday, Jan. 4--teacher work day
Tuesday, Jan. 5-- no HW
Wednesday, Jan. 6-- no HW
Thursday, Jan. 7--Use the EIA ENERGY KIDS website (linked on the blog titled SEVENTH GRADE WEBLINK-- below) to answer the posted questions (also on the same blog)
Friday, Jan. 8--Work as a group on the ENERGY LAB-- use computer lab to explore where the energy you use in Tallahassee comes from
8th grade EARTH SCIENCE -- We are currently studying WEATHERING AND EROSION from Ch. 7
Monday, Jan. 4--teacher work day
Tuesday, Jan. 5-- no HW
Wednesday, Jan. 6-- no HW
Thursday, Jan. 7--Discuss chemical weathering of rocks finish answering the questions using Table 7-1 on page 158 -- A. Which aquatic species (if more than one, list all) is the most sensitive to a change in the pH of the pond it lives in? B. Order all the species on the table in order of tolerance to pH change--from the one(s) most tolerant of change to the one(s) least tolerant of change. If several species are equal, make a box around all the species that are equally tolerant. (Graded as HW)
Friday, Jan. 8--Complete a worksheet called "MORE WEATHERING AND EROSION"
9th and 11th grades are on the WINTER EXPEDITION...God be with you in this cold weather and show you His amazing grace in a new way on this trip. :)
